Hey there! I’m Ben Yaffe and I am UX/UI Designer based in Chicago, IL. As someone with a passion (and degree!) in psychology, I love using my design skills to create experiences that people flock to. I find human behavior to be fascinating and picking out the latent patterns of that behavior is one of my favorite things to do.

Psychology lies behind everything we do, and it has become part of my mission to utilize this knowledge I have gained to keep users and their happiness at the forefront of my designs. UX design grants me fulfillment in helping to design products that users are actively happy to use, and walk away from the experience feeling better than they did before. My background in psychology also grants me the skills to understand how to appeal to human sensibilities through the evocation of emotions and comforts.

Outside of my love for psychology, video games, especially the art form itself, is a large passion of mine! With compelling stories, enrapturing gameplay, striking art styles, and inspiring music there is so much to appreciate about the medium and the love poured into every product. Video games inspire me to draw from the numerous art forms and mediums out there to create designs that are all-encompassing and carefully crafted.
